Service was not good at all. We visited in July which is high season and the resort was packed. We arrived after midnight to the hotel and had to wait more than 30 mins to check in. When we finally arrived at our room we discovered we had no towels. We immediately called the front desk and we were informed that it would take 40 mins to deliver towels. Next day, again no towels in the room. The third day of our stay they left towels for two people even though there were three of us. We called the front desk again and towels were delivered in an enourmus quantity in a bag. The pools were packed and I wasn't at all satified with the cleanliness of the property. There was trash everywere and at the building where our room was located you could even see cobbwebbs. It seemed that we were getting a good deal when we booked but we were extremely dissapointed about the quality of service and condition of the resort. When we checked out I shared my issues with the person at the front desk. He reviewed their system to see if any comments had been added by the different employees we spoke to and to my surprise nothing was recorded. He apologized and inquired if I was a member of their points program. No thanks! Next time we will not choose this hotel or any other that beongs to the sheaton chain.

This property is so much more than a hotel! We stayed in a 1-bedroom condo and had so much room and a full kitchen which helped us save time and money on eating out. The St. Augustine pool is a great area and my daughter went down the water slide about 100 times. We went to the main pool in the evening and were surprised by a man giving out free ice cream which was a great treat! They were doing a movie at the pool which was a great time as well. This hotel is in a great location for SeaWorld and tons of restaurants and a grocery store right down the street. I will definitely stay again!

My family stayed three nights in one of their suites for around $*/night. The property was very nice and secure. The suite was spacious and accommodated the five us nicely. The full kitchen was great and the two bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The property has at least three pools, the main one being quite large. Our teenagers used the pools and liked them. Their only disappointment was that they were often closed due to lightning in our area. We utilized the tennis courts daily and both courts were in good condition. The main problem with the suite was the sound from upstairs. Apparently, there were small children staying upstairs who seemed to be running wild on a daily basis. The noise was quite loud at times. I was also a little disappointed in the televisions, they are all older models and the picture quality was not that good. As nice and modern as the suite is, I figured they would upgrade the televisions. There's no continental breakfast or daily room cleaning (at least with our reservation). They do offer a free breakfast during your stay provided you listen to their "time share" plea. We figured we didn't need breakfast that bad. The front desk folks were nice. I would stay again, however, I might chose to stay upstairs.

I was traveling with 3 children ages 10, 8 and 6. We did have a rental car ($*/week). It was about 15 minutes from the airport to the hotel. We LOVED the little kitchen with stove, microwave and full-sized refrigerator. All dishes and cutlery were provided. There is a Wal-mart within 5 minutes drive. We went day one and bought snacks, drinks and meal fixings. There are actually gas grills on the property which anyone can use or you can use the stovetop/microwave. I can't tell you how much money we saved by being able to fix some quick lunches and a couple dinners. The pool was phenomenal! The kids loved jumping into the waterfalls and playing in the fountains in the huge kiddie pool. They put up a screen and showed a Disney film by the pool in the evenings. Disney resorts are about 5-10 minutes drive. Before we left I washed all our clothes in the stackable washer and dryer that were right in the room--what a nice convenience! I'll post other dollar stretching ideas in tips!

We enjoyed our visit. The pool is spectacular and the service is great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We chose a one bedroom standard room, which was a bit too small for a family of four. It was ok because we only stayed a weekend, but if I were staying a week, I would definitely get a bigger suite. The restaurant was good and the prices were reasonable. They will even deliver to your room, which came in handy the first night. Be aware that there are 2 Sheraton Vistana resorts. We went to the wrong one at first. If you are using GPS or Mapquest, make sure you input the "Villages" in the name. Also, this is a time share resort, so they will try to offer you a "free" breakfast in exchange for a sales pitch for a timeshare. You pay for the shuttles to the parks, they are not free. The resort is close to all of the parks, however. We will definitely go back to this resort.
